We're back, baby! The unofficial fun run/walk/roll of the NACAC Conference has returned! On Thursday, September 23rd, join us at the parking lot of The Edgewater Hotel at 7:15 AM. The out-and-back course will first pass the Olympic Sculpture Park as it follows the scenic Elliot Bay Trail that runs along Elliot Bay and provides views of the Seattle Harbor. Walkers and rollers will start at 7:15, and runners will start at 7:30, with the hope that at the finish line back at the Edgewater we will all have time to partake together in Seattle's morning beverage of choice ("when in Rome . . ." ). We are also working on getting some type of coffee cart/food truck so that we can begin the day with "nutrition" necessary to start the conference off right. The hotel will allow us to use their bathrooms. Your $15 fee will cover any after-race refreshments, with 100% of the remainder going directly to CBOs that support college access. Most importantly, all participants will receive a "one-size-fits-all" button that will subtly announce their early-morning achievement for the duration of the conference.
