The Connect is a networking event in the guise of a happy hour. Where young professionals connect, advocate, and advance their careers. We're back with Educators of Color Retention Pt. IV! In partnership with Delaware's Department of Education, this time we're coming together in-person at The Mill Downtown (1007 N Orange St, Wilmington, DE 19801). This event is for any individual who feels like we need to improve DE's educational system--whether through school boards, actual teachers, or the curriculum itself. Adding to that, most young professionals of color feel like they work in silos creating a feeling of displacement in their own community. The Connect is here to change that.
