Resource Fair to inform first responders, peer support personnel and support staff /administrations of available resources. The purpose of this Resource Fair is to inform first responders, peer support personnel and support staff /administrations regarding what resources are available when there is a responder in crisis. This first responders event will have guest speakers from the mental health field that specialize in working with the police, fire and emergency medical responders. The guest speakers will be from Deer Hollow and West Coast Post Traumatic Retreat Center. These are treatment facilities that work with first responders in crisis for issues related to trauma incurred on duty such as PTSD and addiction as well as suicide prevention. There will also be regional counselors present that specialize in working with first responders in crisis. This event is being hosted by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, Gold Creek Community Church, Code 4 NW and Behind the Badge Foundation
