Description
Strongman Corporation Level 1 Sanctioned Event Event 1- Yoke Relay • Get pin setting during weigh in and rules meeting • Athlete will carry predetermined weights, increasing every 25ft for a total of 100ft • Fastest time wins • Athletes will be allowed 0 drops other than the turn arounds • Max 15 seconds at drop, failure get weight off the ground in this time will end the attempt. • 3rd drop ends the event • Measurement taken from center post (essentially the feet) • Equipment Allowed- Knee Sleeves, Elbow sleeves, belt, wrist wraps, chalk and Grip Shirt Event 2- Stone Over Bar • Athlete will start with arms on the bar • Athlete will start on command and have 60 seconds to get stone over bar for max reps. • Athlete is responsible for resetting their own stone for each attempt • Athlete will have choice of 2 stones, 1 completion of heavy stone beats all reps of light stone • Equipment Allowed: Knee Sleeves, Elbow Sleeves, Belt, Wrist Wraps, Chalk, Grip Shirt or Sleeves • Not Allowed- Tacky, Suites, build up belts or Knee wraps. Event 3- 3” Beam deadlift at 18” high • Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete max reps • Athlete will lift weight based on Division and weight class • Athlete will wait for down command or lift will not count. • Sumo lift not allowed, arms must be outside legs • Athlete must come all the way up to lock out hips and shoulders back • Equipment Allowed: Knee sleeves, wrist wraps, straps or figure 8’s, belt, gloves and chalk • Not Allowed: Suits, Knee wraps Event 4- Seated Arm of Arm Pull • Athlete will start and remain in a seated position • Athlete will pull rope to raise chains off the ground • Weight will increase as chain rises • Rope will have a brake so athlete and pull and readjust without weight crashing down • Highest lift in fastest time wins • Max 60 seconds • Equipment Allowed: Gloves, Chalk, Wraps, Sleeves • Not Allowed: Tacky Event 5- Hercules Hold • Athlete will hold a predetermined weight for max time • Time starts when weight is lifted and ends when 1 or both sides are at rest. • Equipment Allowed: Wrist wraps, Sleeves and Chalk • Not Allowed: Tacky or Straps New local gym in Greenfield
