Description
We're a company that helps people prepare and file small claims court cases. We're looking for someone on the ground to walk in our client's case paperwork into a court and submit it for filing (along with the court fee). Then, we want you to receive the court stamped copy and serve it on the defendant (also located within 5 boroughs).
The requirements here would be:
1. Receive a list of PDFs with filing instruction cover sheets by email each morning
2. Print out each PDF
3. Take it to the right court and file it (along with the filing fee)
4. Send us a photo of the proof of filing
5. Pick up any previous filings that have been stamped by the court
6. Serve all the stamped copies
We will pay you for filing (and pay you back for the court fee + a convenience fee for advancing it), pickup of documents, and process of service separately and we can discuss what a good price is for each of these services.
We're expecting this to be a regular gig with new cases being sent to you every day.
Required to have:
1. Active NY License for Service of Process
2. Smart phone, camera, printer, etc.
3. Bike/car to deliver documents quickly
