A Mystery Food Cook-off Competition between six Prince Georgians. Who will win the number one spot? Stay tuned! The Prince George’s County Office of Community Relations (OCR), in partnership with the Prince George’s Community College (PGCC) Culinary Arts Center, is excited about connecting the dots, through our upcoming Mystery Box Cook-Off Competition. This is an opportunity for OCR & PGCC to bring together education, government, and business. The goal of the competition is to highlight the importance of healthy eating and how food plays a vital role in the life expectancy of individuals in our community. Through this competition we will have six (6) stakeholders who will put their cooking skills on the line and prove why they should be considered the top cook in Prince George’s County. The produce used in the competition will come from one of our local farms here in the County. In addition to those participating in the competition, we will have certified Chefs conduct cooking demos for a live audience; showing them ways to prepare healthy meals. Social distancing will be enforced and masks are required.
