Classmates, please join us for our 40th reunion on Friday, October 15, 2021 Fellow classmates, you are invited to join us for the Ellet High School Class of 1981 40th reunion on Friday, October 15, 2021. This year, we are holding our reunion at The Event Center (formerly the Ellet Athletic Association Bingo Hall) on East Market St. in Ellet. If you attended a school in the Ellet Cluster with our class, you are welcome to attend. The venue has a dance floor and music will be provided. We will have a slide show with photos from our school years and our various reunions. The building is fully ADA compatible with accessible parking in front. Our dinner will be served buffet style, with 2 meats, vegetables, salad, roll & butter, pasta and potato selections. Gluten-free selections will be available. Soft drinks are provided and a cash bar is available. For guests traveling into Akron for the event, the Hilton Garden Inn Akron on East Market St. is offering a block of discounted rooms for our guests interested in staying overnight at the hotel. The discounted rooms are available for October 14 and 15. Rooms feature King Beds, walk-in showers, and the latest in technology and ergonomic comfort for guests. Hearing accessible rooms are also available. For reservation and discount information, call the Hilton at 330-733-2900 and identify yourself as a group member of the Ellet Class of 1981 Reunion wishing to make a reservation for our banquet at The Event Center on October 15th. Room reservations must be made by October 4th. Please avoid torn or dirty clothing or items with offensive messages or images. Of course, per our class history, "SOMF" or "EMO" are allowed exceptions. :-) Why did I receive an email from "Ellet High School Class of 1981" right after I placed my order?Eventbrite.com is our partner for on-line ticket ordering for our banquet. Will drink service be available at the event?Yes, the banquet room features a cash bar. Outside of the banquet room, the main hotel bar will also be open.
