Description

Carve your own personalized stamp to decorate paper, fabric, and wood. Workshop guide Aaron Bardo will design a personalized magic symbol for you, and draw it in reverse on a carving block. We will go over carving safety and technique. With an assortment of blades provided, you’ll carve out your stamp design and test it with ink on paper. If you bring a fabric item, there will be fabric ink that you can do all different kinds of repeating patterns with your new stamp! Take your creation home with you and use it as your new tool for crafting! All supplies needed will be provided with ticket purchase. This event is part of the Fruits of Our Labor Makerspace at the Horseshoe Market. advance ticket purchase encouraged, walk-ups welcome. No event during times of a pandemic is risk free. We ask all participates to respect others by masking if not vaccinated and following current CDC guidelines regarding social distancing and hand washing.
