Marcie started onto an entrepreneurial path in 2016 following 9 years in operations management in the insurance industry. With a longing for purpose driven work, the expansion of the local economy of Easthampton Massachusetts inspired the departure from corporate and creation of her first business, Greenbark. Greenbark’s mission is to support entrepreneurs’ continuous growth by providing customizable, hands on administrative support that frees small business owners to engage with their passions and avoid the mundane tasks needed to keep their businesses running. A natural listener driven by a genuine interest in the human experience, Marcie quickly fell into a roll of confidant and consultant to many of her clients. Answering the call to show up effectively as a sounding board and planning partner, in 2019 Marcie trained with Presence Based Coaching® and added coaching support to her list of offerings. Marcie’s second business, Cormier Coaching Collaborative continues to provide business coaching to Greenbark’s clients, as well as life, career and parenting coaching to individual clients. The coaching relationship validates her belief that true success comes from integrating the whole person into each role we are asked to play; professional or personal, when we are able to show up fully, we thrive in a new way. As a Positive Discipline Facilitator, Marcie coaches towards stronger connections between caregivers and their families to reduce stress and increase authenticity and independence in young people. Marcie lives in Easthampton, Massachusetts with her teen son Quinn and their pets.
