Brooklyn based dog walking company is currently looking for a mature, responsible and committed individual to join our dog walking team! This is a rewarding job for a strong individual who likes the outdoors, LOVES dogs and enjoys working independently. We prefer to work with creative people (artists, musicians, etc) who are looking to make a steady income. PLEASE RESPOND ONLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: - Possess previous experience as a dog walker. - Capacity to be punctual and show up on time ALWAYS. - Willing to work in the rain, snow, heat and humidity. - Comfort with and ability to handle dogs of all sizes. - Ability to commit to at least 6 months with our company. - Have excellent written and spoken communication skills. - Capacity to follow through with training techniques as advised by owners (positive reinforcement/reward based training only). - Patience with our special needs dogs (pups that don’t like to walk, pups that jump or pull, elderly dogs with medical issues). - Capability to work Monday – Friday 10:30am to 6pm - You must have a cell phone with a contract. It is very important that we can reach you at all times during work hours. If you meet these requirements please respond with a cover letter and your resume.
