Guest Speaker Carla M. Palumbo, President and CEO of Legal Aid Society
Join members of the Zonta Club of Rochester as we host Carla M. Palumbo. Ms. Palumbo will share some history of the Legal Aid Society and its beginnings. And also give the audience insight on the current housing crisis in the greater Rochester area.

Zonta International (derived from a Lakota-Sioux Indian word meaning "honest and trustworthy") is a worldwide service organization of executives in business and the professions working together to advance the status of women. The first Zonta club was established in 1919 in Buffalo, New York and has grown its presence to over 1,200 clubs in 70 countries. Clubs are nonpartisan and nonsectarian. The Zonta Club of Rochester was the second club established. ZCR has a nonprofit status (501c3) through Zonta Rochester Foundation. Zonta Club of Rochester has organized efforts as varied as women's economic self-sufficiency, legal equality, access to education and health, and eradicating violence, through community service projects and grants.
