GIAD aims to spark an interest in aviation for girls ages 8-17 to and display recreational and professional opportunities in aviation. Free Event! Come particiate in the 7th annual Girls In Aviation Day (hosted by Women In Aviation: Great Salt Lake Chapter). The day will be full of activites and experiences aimed to to spark an interest in aviation for girls ages 8-17 to and introduce them to a variety of recreational and professional opportunities in the aviation community. The event will be open to the public and welcomes participants of all ages. The event includes: Backpacks for the first 100 girls (ages 17 and younger) to arrive! Aircraft on display Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Ninety-Nines Aviation Activites, Photo Booth, and More Girl Scouts Can Earn a Girls In Aviation Day Patch Girls In Aviation Day merchandise available for purchase (cash, credit/debit card, and Venmo accepted) Raffle for an Intro Flight (donated by Cornerstone Aviation) and for Private Pilot Ground School (donated by FLT Academy)!
