Feed The Need 2022 Community Service Event! FEED THE NEED is a FREE Community Worship and Service Event! Hosted by Faith Lutheran Church! This youth and family mission project will include opportunities to bless people throughout Albuquerque. In years past we have gatherred over 1000 pounds of food for the Albuquerque Rescue Mission, and given $1000 to support the mission! Let's exceed those goals this year! FEED THE NEED will once again be SERVING right here in Albuquerque. This year we are working through several service projects at Faith that will go out to bless people in the community. This will include snacks for young children in schools through FeedNMKIds, people experiencing homelessness through blessings bags and young adults at UNM & CNM with a unique Gospel gift. Additionally Children, youth, and families are challenged to bring Non-perishable food snack items on Friday evening for Feed NM Kids. Financial gifts can be given either directly to Faith Lutheran Church to be used in missions outside of the church. Feed the Need will bless youth with a dynamic program and God will use you to bless those in need right here at home in Albuquerque! EVENT SCHEDULE: FRIDAY NIGHT: -6:00PM Doors Open at Faith Lutheran Church with a Pizza Dinner- -7:00PM Worship -8:00PM Worship Games/Activities -9:00PM Commissioning for our work together on Saturday -9:15PM Head Home to Rest for a day of serving Christ on Saturday -9:15PM-Overnight- High School Lock-In Begins SATURDAY: -8:00AM- Meet at Faith for orientation and to begin work. -10am-12:00pm Work on various service projects. -12PM -Lunch & Cleanup -12PM-2:00PM Continued Work -2:00-2:30PM Cleanup and Prayer Faith Lutheran is a dynamic Christ centered and bible based community of believers seeking to follow Jesus.   Find out more at www.faithabq.org.
