Description

Maker Café is a free monthly open house drop-in to explore 3D printers, laser cutters, and other maker tools. Got 15 minutes? Pop in!! On the second Thursday of every month, the Uplands Maker Mobile sets up a variety of cool machines in the café at The Mill. Dream Technician Andrew Woodard will demo how the tools work and help you plan a project. Come create with us! The cafe opens at 3 pm. No reservation, registration, or long time commitment needed. Pop in, see how it works, pop out. Masks are required inside The Mill as of Thursday, August 5, in accordance with county health mandates. That won't keep us from having fun! Sign our COVID orientation form for guests, mask up, and starting making cool stuff! Don't forget that there's parking at the new Trades District Garage at the corner of West 10th and Rogers. The Mill is Bloomington's nonprofit center for coworking and entrepreneurship. Located in the heart of downtown in the Trades District, we are home to over 200 entrepreneurs, freelancers, remote workers, creatives, startups, and techies. Join us for events focused on startups, technology,  innovation, podcasting, and more in our favorite Indiana town.
