The CMPD Exploring is a hands-on program open to students who are in the 6th – 12th grade, interested in a law enforcement career. Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) Middle Club & High School Post Exploring Program Open House Date & Time: Thursday, September 23, 2021 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Location: First Baptist Church - West 1801 Oaklawn Ave Charlotte, NC 28216 The CMPD Exploring Program is a hands-on program open to students who are in the 6th – 12th grade, interested in a law enforcement career or a related field in the criminal justice system. The program offers students a personal awareness of the criminal justice system through training, practical experiences, competition and other activities. Additionally, the program promotes personal growth through character development, respect, physical fitness, good citizenship and leadership.
