Starting this Friday (September 10, 2021), Dedham's Legacy Placeand Hopscotch Labs will offer Hopscotch Labs x Legacy Place Drop & Shop. Parents and guardians can drop off their children (ages 2.5 – 6) at a curated space on The Green and leave to have 90-minutes of kid-free time around Legacy Place. Whether taking the time to shop at their favorite Legacy Place stores, have a coffee date, or go grocery shopping at Whole Foods, their children will be cared for by Hopscotch Labs' experienced and engaging staff in the program's Montessori-inspired playspace. Each 90-minute session is $40 for the first child; additional children are $25. Hopscotch Labs x Legacy Place Drop & Shop sessions are 90-minutes long and include a special activity hosted by a community partner who will offer lessons and activities like art and dance. Hopscotch Labs staff will also lead curated activities consisting of art materials, sensory tables, Montessori-inspired manipulatives, games, and more. Registration is required in advance and parents and guardians are asked to remain on property for the duration of the session.
