Sarasota County Health Dept Car Seat Check *Please note: car seat checkup appointments are designated for families who are already have a car seat. Car seats will not be distributed at car seat checkup appointments.* A car seat is one of the best ways you can protect your child while traveling in a vehicle, but using it correctly can be a challenge. At your car seat checkup appointment, our nationally certified child passenger safety technician(s) will guide and educate you in this hands on educational event. You should leave confident that your child's seat is installed correctly and feel comfortable reinstalling it on your own. Here are some tips on how you can prepare for your appointment: Install the car seat in your vehicle before your appointmentBring the child car seat instructions manual to your appointment Bring your vehicles owners's manual to your appointmentIf your child is already born, know your child's weight and height.This appointment will be held at the following location: Payne Skate Park 2110 Adams StSarasota, FL. 34237 Parking: Park with some room around you because we will be getting in and out of your vehicle to check your seat.
