GRAFTON, MA — The Grafton Fire Department will host a 9/11 Commemoration at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, at Station 1, located at 26 Upton Street. The ceremony will begin with a moment of silence, according to Grafton Fire Capt. Michael Killeen. The event will continue with: Ringing Bell 5-5-5-5Lowering station flag to half-mast1 minute of complete silenceRinging Bell 5-5-5-5Raising the flagReturning to service "It is not as elaborate as we would have hoped for due to the pandemic," Killeen said, "but we are looking forward to honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice."
