Description

Press release from the Harrison Central School District: September 8, 2021 Dr. Wool invited to the annual opening of school sessions in a letter to employees: "I look forward to seeing each of you in these smaller building-based meetings where we can recognize your efforts and the generosity of spirit that defined our district throughout the course of last year." In addition to the welcome address from Dr. Wool, Superintendent Conference Days include professional development for faculty and staff. Preparations for the school year also include a number of changes in the COVID-19 protocols that will help sustain in-person instruction as outlined in the 2021-22 Opening Plan. Dr. Wool reminded everyone, "I cherish the opportunity to bring all of us together on opening day to share a message of thanks and to deepen our understanding and commitment to the work we do together on behalf of children; the six in-person presentations remind us that while we are not there yet, we continue to make progress towards the world we once knew." Superintendent Conference Days were filled with energy, excitement and the collegiality that defines the HCSD learning community. Everyone is looking forward to a great school year.
