DANVERS, MA — The Danvers Fire Department is inviting residents to attend its memorial service on the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
The service will begin promptly at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Danvers fire said light refreshments will be served beginning at 9 a.m. at fire headquarters.
The ceremony will be among many statewide and nationally to honor the victims of the terrorist attacks and the first responders who contributed to search and rescue efforts.
