In workshop 1 David DesRochers will review the basics of understanding your camera. Instructor - David DesRochers, NJ Audubon Associate Naturalist. Workshop 1 will review the basics of understanding your camera. The instructor will go over camera controls, helping participants understand how the settings work and how changes in settings affect the image. By the end of the workshop, participants will understand lenses, camera bodies, megapixels, shutter speeds, f/stops, focal lengths, apertures, exposure histograms, and depth of field—and how all of these can be used to take good photographs. One person per ticket. Ticket sale ends on 10/15 at 4:00 PM. All attendees must wear a mask indoors regardless of vaccination status, and maintain social distancing. NEW JERSEY AUDUBON'S PROGRAM GUIDELINES: Effective June 4, 2021, fully vaccinated people may attend outdoor programs without masks. If you are unvaccinated, please mask up. Please do not come to a program if you are sick, have a sick family member or have reason to believe you may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus. CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
