A casual gathering of local movers and shakers in Bay County. Invitations are hand-picked by the co-hosts. You are here because you've been invited by a co-host for The Fizz. "Networking events" ALWAYS fail because people are either 1) trying to sell each other things 2) too nervous to talk to people they don't know. The Fizz is not a "networking event" or a "business social". --- What is The Fizz? ---- A casual gathering of local mover and shakers. Invitations are hand-picked by the hosts which are a different group of people each time. The location is The Sapp House, near the courthouse downtown Panama City. There will be drinks, a bar, and the El Weirdo food truck. Nothing is provided, buy drinks, buy tacos, or don't. There's no sponsor, there's no cost to attend besides what you eat and drink. --- Mover and Shaker? ---- I know, that sounds lame, a "mover and shaker" is anyone who is making Bay County a more interesting place for us all. --- Invitations --- There are 10 hosts who are allowed to invite 15 people each. Each invitee is allowed to bring a +1... bring your spouse, significant other, a friend. Please register this person along with your registration so we know who you're bringing. --- Invite-Only --- We are trying to balance being inclusive with creating an event where invitees feel comfortable enough to walk up and talk to each other. Invite-only is the only way we can ensure 1000 people don't show up either. 🙂 --- Rules --- - No selling: if we hear that you're trying to push your wares on others, you will be asked to leave. No Mr. Cool: don't act like Mr. Cool-Guy, just be yourself.Dress: wear whatever makes you comfortable. Business casual? Sure. Jeans? Sure.
