Description

We are hiring for several electrical helper positions. If you're interested, please send an email over so we can set up an interview. Our company is committed to serving the fishing and tug vessels who come to Seattle for overhaul and installations during a tie up "shipyard" period. We need helpers to assist our commercial electrical field staff during this shipyard period and beyond. We'll want you to show up on time, be able to follow directions and clearly communicate any questions you have while at work. You should have your own vehicle to get to and from local job sites. Maintain a positive can-do attitude. We are hoping you have some relatable work experience. If you do, mention what it was and how it relates in your email to us. We offer 3-weeks of paid vacation (more if you stay around a few years). We offer medical coverage which includes vision and dental options. We offer retirement matching in the form of a 401k. ...And more. A normal day for you would be something like: Show up at a shipyard. Check in with our lead electrician. They will guide and instruct what is needed from you to best help with the project. You'll likely pull in cables from point A to point B or clean up after an electrician's installation, do some basic wiring, cable stripping or job-site preparation. There is a great number of our successful electrical team who started out doing this and have flourished into capable electrical job leaders. With a little time, attention and determination, you could be too. If you are interested, please reach out to us to discuss coming in for an interview.
