Road Reopens After Crash In Hamden: Police

HAMDEN, CT — Dixwell Avenue at Weybosset Street (near Route 15) in Hamden fully reopened, police said in an update late Thursday night. The road was partially closed for several hours on Thursday after two utility poles were damaged in a crash involving a U-Haul truck. No serious injuries were reported in the accident, according to Detective Sean Dolan. Dolan said the accident remains under investigation.
