HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A 35-year-old Ellicott City was killed when she was hit by an SUV shortly after midnight Thursday. The woman, Staciemarie Erica Brown, was walking in the road when a 2019 Nissan Rogue heading southbound on Route 29 in the area of Frederick Road struck her. The driver of the Nissan Rogue was uninjured. Howard County police are investigating the incident.
