Description

Press release from City of Fort Worth: September 09, 2021 A state-funded Regional Infusion Center in Fort Worth is now accepting walk-in patients in addition to those referred by a physician. The site administers COVID-19 therapeutics quickly and safely with the goal of preventing patients from needing hospitalization. The center is at 816 Eighth Ave. Operating hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week. There is no cost to the patient or referring provider. The Regional Infusion Center utilizes the monoclonal antibody treatment Regeneron. Walk-ins are not guaranteed an appointment, and it is strongly recommended that patients visit a physician to see if they are eligible for the treatment and ask their physician to submit the referral form to the Regional Infusion Center to schedule an appointment. Walk-in patients will be seen by a medical professional but will be turned away if they do not meet the eligibility criteria. Walk-in patients must also provide documentation of a positive COVID-19 test. Learn more about eligibility criteria and walk-in procedures.     Get articles like this in your inbox.
