EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — High school football's return is back to normal this fall in Rhode Island. Following a season that was postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and moved to the spring of 2021, the East Providence Townies are back on the gridiron this fall. The Townies' regular season begins Friday, when the team hosts Barrington High School.
