J & J Multi-Services is seeking energetic, motivated individuals to join our warehouse team in a variety of roles. We currently have openings for Forklift Operators, Order Selectors, Lumpers (Unloaders/Loaders) and Porters. Pay starts at $16.00 depending on experience and position. These positions are physically demanding and you need a keen eye for detail and a self-starting personality. FORKLIFT OPERATORS & LUMPERS: Duties and Responsibilities · Unload packages, materials, and pallets from arriving trucks and prepare all items for distribution and storage in the warehouse. · Receive, unload, and distribute pallets of goods to the appropriate area of the warehouse. · Operate a motorized pallet jack or forklift. · Maintain a safe and organized unloading/loading area. · Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines. · Handle various other warehouse related job duties upon request. Requirements and Qualifications · Our ideal candidate has worked in a warehouse and has experience with unloading/loading, sorting and segregating packages to warehouse specifications. · Some experience working in a warehouse or other related manual labor work. · Pallet jack or forklift experience (preferred) · Ability to read and interpret unloading instruction and order manifests. · Able to take direction and communicate appropriately with coworkers and managers. · Ability to work a flexible schedule. · Must be dependable and work safely. · Must be willing and able to handle repetitive lifting. · Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. · Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. ORDER SELECTION: Duties and Responsibilities · Required to build stable, safe pallets for transit. · Select packages and products for distribution to the warehouse customer. · Operate a motorized pallet jack or forklift. · Maintain a safe and organized work area. · Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines. · Handle various other warehouse related job duties upon request. Requirements and Qualifications · Our ideal candidate has worked in a warehouse and has selection experience with both voice and scanner picking. · Accuracy is of the utmost importance and you need an eye for detail and a strong work ethic. · Ability to follow the instructions of the warehouse system. · Some experience working in a warehouse or other related manual labor work. · Pallet jack experience (preferred – will train). · Ability to listen and interpret selection instructions. · Able to take direction and communicate appropriately with coworkers and managers. · Ability to work a flexible schedule. · Must be dependable and work safely. · Must be willing and able to handle repetitive lifting. · Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. · Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
