Bucks-Mont Oktoberfest 2021 Time: Saturday, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.; rain date Sunday Location: 130 Davisville Rd., WarminsterThis event is all about German food, fun, and beer! German music groups will play all day while attendees enjoy soccer games and a keg tapping ceremony, plus fun for the kids including a moon bounce, clowns, face painting, kickball, hayrides, arts & crafts, an obstacle course, and a playground. First Responders Weekend Time: Saturday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Location: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Rd., Langhorne "First Responders are our Hometown Heroes and on the weekend of September 11 and 12, we will celebrate and thank the men and women who help keep our communities safe," reads this event's description. Attendees will get an up-close look at emergency vehicles, photos with everyone's favorite Sesame Street friends dressed up in uniform, and more. First responders receive free one-day admission to Sesame Place for themselves, and save 55 percent for up to six guests. Municipal Park Grand Opening & Fall Festival Time: Saturday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Location: Bristol Township Municipal Building, 2501 Bath Rd., Bristol The Municipal Park Grand Opening ceremonies will be held in conjunction with Bristol's annual Fall Festival. This event features free family friendly fun at the newly renovated Municipal Park with bounce houses, sand art, face painting, balloon art, and more. Park dedication will take place at 12 p.m., followed by a Bristol Township Police Department K9 Demonstration. Snacks and drinks and vendor products/services will be available for a fee. Meet and Greet with Katie Schulze-Bahn Time: Saturday, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Location: Newtown Bookshop, 2835 S Eagle Rd., NewtownThe Newtown Bookshop will welcome local Bucks County writer Katie Schulze-Bahn with her new book, Sugar Sand Road. She will meet with guests and sign copies of her book. From its description: "A young islander named Katie is enjoying life running wild and free among salt air and seagulls, until a summer storm turns her world upside down. With wagon rides, a 5-acre corn maze honoring the 20th anniversary of 9/11, sunflowers, apple picking, and pumpkin picking, there's lots for fall enthusiasts to explore.
