Press release from the Plainfield Park District: 2021-09-08 REGISTER NOW Come join us for the Inaugural "You Can't Catch Me" Fun Run around Village Green. Prior to our Grinchmas on the Green Tree Lighting and Festival that evening, the one-mile fun run will kick off the afternoons activities by running around Village Green Park. Participants and their families are encouraged to stay after their run for Grinchmas on the Green with the tree lighting ceremony, scheduled visits from Santa and the Grinch along with cocoa and cookies (while supplies last) All race participants will receive a shirt and swag bag which will include components to make their own gingerbread house along with some other cool items. Runners must sign up by 5p on Wednesday November 10th to be guaranteed their shirt size.
