Add your voice to one of Concord Community Music School's choruses, most of them now in-person, now welcoming new members for the fall semester. SONGWEAVERS and SONGWEAVER DRUMMERS: Songweavers is New Hampshire's original women's community chorus, open to women of any age who like to sing, with director Peggo Horstmann Hodes. No musical experience or note-reading is required. Songweavers rehearse in two groups, Tuesdays at 5:30pm and Wednesdays at 9:30am. This fall, Songweavers will be a hybrid class with in-person and virtual options available. In addition to wearing face masks, in-person participants must be vaccinated for Covid-19. Songweaver Drummers will meet remotely this term, Thursdays at 5:30, with directors Lindsey Schust & Grace Schust. Masks are required at Monday afternoon/evening rehearsals; class-size limits and other safety protocols are in place. Information and online registration: tinyurl.com/purple-finches-2021 MUSIC AND MOVEMENT: The littlest singers (and their adults!) will enjoy the Music School's in-person Music and Movement program, with a wide variety of fun, interactive classes for kids from 5 months to 6 years of age. Heather Oberheim, R-DMT, director, brings years of experience and training in early childhood development and specific expertise in working with children with special needs, so that all classes are inclusive of all abilities.
