Man arrested twice: Merrimack Police say a 34-year-old man was arrested in two separate incidents over the course of several hours from Wednesday night into early this morning. David Palmore faces charges of resisting detention, driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, and breach of bail.
ICU beds: New Hampshire hospitals are using more than 80 percent of their designated COVID-19 ICU beds right now, data from the Department of Health and Human Services shows. The DHHS says five more New Hampshire residents have died thus far this week.
Barefoot soldier: Army Major Chris Brannigan is walking 1,200 miles to raise awareness and funding for his daughter Hasti, who is nine and has a rare genetic condition called Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. Brannigan's route takes him through the Granite State today.
Shipyard construction: A $1.7 billion project at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is now underway. The shipyard is 221 years old, and the Navy says upgrades are needed to better service Los Angeles- and Virginia-class submarines.
