PITTSBURGH, PA — The apparent stalemate over a contract extension appears to be over. Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt appears poised to become the NFL's highest paid defensive player, according to multiple reports. Watt is expected to sign a four-year deal worth $112 million within the next 24 hours. In a break from tradition, $80 million of the contract will be guaranteed, according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
