Position Summary: Provides selected occupational therapy interventions to agency patients within an established plan of care under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Essential Functions: Carries out the plan of care developed by the Occupational Therapist. Treats patients to develop and restore function, relieve pain and maintain maximum performance using appropriate occupational therapy treatment, modalities and procedures as stated in the established plan of care. Knowledge and Experience: Current license in the Commonwealth of PA as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.Minimum of one year experience required. Education: Successful completion of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program at a school approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association or Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association.
