LIVERMORE, CA — A trash capture device recently installed in Pleasanton will capture trash from a 92-acre service area and prevent it from entering Arroyo Del Valle, which flows into Livermore's Lake Del Valle.
The City of Pleasanton announced it partnered with Caltrans to install the 60-inch device from Bio Clean, which can trap trash, oil, grease and other pollutants.
"The device will help to keep our waterways clean and reduce the trash deposited into the San Francisco Bay," the city wrote.
