MOORESVILLE, NC — An emergency gas line repair prompted a short-term road closure near downtown Mooresville Thursday. "East Mills Avenue, from College Street to Brawley Avenue, and Brawley Avenue, from East Mills to Ridge Avenue, are currently closed due to an issued with a 4-inch gas line," the Town of Mooresville said in a statement. "Dominion Gas is on the scene and a two-hour closure is expected," the town said.
