BIRMINGHAM, AL — An overturned 18-wheeler has caused the shutdown of I-20 at I-59 in Birmingham Wednesday morning. The truck spilled debris onto the roadway, causing the westbound portion of the interstate to close while the truck and debris are cleared. Birmingham police said to expect significant traffic issues as a result of the wreck.
