I am K.Smith, a singer/songwriter from Newark. I Play rhythm acoustic and electric Telecaster. Looking for a bass player, drummer or possibly another guitar player, lead or rhythm to jam with, or form a band. I write rock n roll, country, folk, blues, (depends on how you want to play it). I have recorded over 200 songs, and 18 albums in the past 20 years. My stuff is easy to follow, and you can add your flavor to it. I do some covers, and open to more covers. As far as genre it varies, think George Thorogood, Chuck Berry, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Hank SR., John Prine, ZZ Top, (a good three man band really works well) etc. If you write or sing, that's a plus, doesn't matter. I work till 5, with weekends off, I've got practice space, recording equipment, etc. Start with open mics, book shows, as many or as little as schedule allows, totally up to the group.
