Contract labor for busy event production company Start ASAP as an independent contractor for a fast-paced event production company. ILIOS Productions is looking for individual contractors to assist in the assembly & removal of visual event technologies such as lighting, video, and audio systems. ILIOS produces concerts, theater productions, weddings, private events, and much more all in Austin and the Central Texas area. ~ Prior experience in the Event Industry. Direct experience with production lighting, video, and audio with an understanding of what goes into the set-up of said equipment, is our primary focus. ~ A valid driver's license. ~ Physical capability to lift at least lift 50 lbs. Comfort working atop ladders. ~ Access to transportation. ~ Reliability, and a positive “make it work” attitude. ~ Solution minded mentality. Adaptation and openness. The event industry is very fast paced, and always changing due to a fluctuating schedule. If you fit the criteria above, please email over a copy of your work history and/or resume. Qualified contractors will receive a response to schedule a meeting/screening to discuss and verify your experience in the field. If all goes well, we will register you to a contractor pool. Please do not call our office looking to follow up. We offer work on a PER JOB basis. Number of jobs offered does vary week to week, season to season. Compensation is on a PER JOB basis, offered as mutually agreed upon day rates determined by the scope of the job, as well as skillset required to complete that respective job.
