We are looking to rehome our 7 month old labradoodle. He is a really sweet, loving, fun, and energetic puppy. He’s friendly and does good with other dogs. He absolutely loves being outside and roaming around or exploring new areas. He is both house (potty) and crate trained. He does well in a crate with no issues. He does know basic commands like to sit, lay, stay, wait, and come. We were working on others as well as his jumping when he meets and greets new people and animals. He gets very excited and tends to jump. We were also working on his leash walking. He does well but does tend to get distracted or stimulated easily by the outdoors or other animals outdoors. So those are two things that will continue needing to be addressed with him. Some more about him. He loves wearing clothes, bandanas, and bow ties. He loves squeaky toys, tennis balls, rope toys, and enrichment toys where he has to find his snacks. He does really well with those and can be rather quick at them. He’s very good motivated, which is helpful with training. Our schedules have become busy and we’re finding it hard to give him the proper time and exercise that he needs. He is up to date on all vaccines and medications, tick & flea, and heart worm. He is neutered and chipped. He’s been DNA tested as well. He has had no health issues other than recent GI problems resulted in a change in his tool. We were advised to change his food which we have and have also added more fresh cooked meats and veggies to the diet as well and his condition improved. So that is something to take into consideration when considering taking him. His diet can be a bit on the high maintenance end.
