We have openings for both HVAV certified and non certified Apartment Maintenance Technicians and Make Ready Technicians - Make Ready Technician – This position is Monday – Friday – Hours are 8:30 – 5:30 The main duties include: Basic maintenance in vacant apartments to get it ready for a new move in. Replacing furnace filters, outlet covers, toilet seats, drip pans, replacing mini & vertical blinds, changing batteries in smoke alarms & CO detectors, cleaning up patio &/or balcony, making sure all toilets, appliances, etc. are working properly. We use a very detailed check off list to help you make sure nothing is missed. Light maintenance work including make ready go backs. In some cases, this position requires you to be on call for emergencies. On call for snow removal/salting. Maintenance Technician – This position is Monday – Friday – Hours are 8:30 – 5:30 Requires being on call for emergencies. The size of the properties varies - the on- call schedule depends on how many Maintenance Technicians there are on the property. We have positions that require HVAC certification & positions that do not. All Maintenance Technicians need to have their own basic tools, be able to work on basic plumbing, electrical and appliance repairs. Maintenance may also make ready units. On call for snow removal/salting.
