Diamond Designs is the premier sports turf management and construction company in San Diego. We manage multiple properties and complete major and minor renovations from community parks to Division I College facilities. We are looking to add members to our team that are eager to learn and produce the best possible playing conditions. This position would work with our sport field construction and maintenance division. We are a growing company and we seek team members who can grow with us. Duties at Diamond Designs include, but are not limited to: Equipment operation of hand tools, utility carts, mowers, edgers, and tractors. Detail work on turfgrass including edging, blowing, and string trimming. Sod removal and installation. Assist in cultural practices including fertilization, aerification, topdressing, verticutting and overseeding. Assist with irrigation repair/maintenance and hand watering. Assist with equipment upkeep and maintenance. Assist with construction of baseball mounds, installation of base anchors, home plates and rubbers. Experience maintaining turfgrass on sports fields, landscapes or golf courses is preferred. Operating experience on mowers, tractors, and hand tools is also a plus, but not required. Candidates must be able to work outdoors daily and lift 50-75 lbs regularly. The job description does not cover all duties that may be assigned to the employee.
