EQUINE VETERINARY AMBULATORY PRACTICE seeking a full time assistant. Duties include driving and managing inventory of the practice vehicle, assisting veterinarian in seeing patients, loading and setting up veterinary equipment. The following attributes are essential: 1) Extensive horse experience--must be well-versed in handling and restraining horses and know how to longe a horse 2) Must be an able driver with a clean driving record 3) The job is physical so the applicant must be fit and healthy Work days are Tuesday through Saturday, hours are variable each day. Work days begin and end in Calabasas. No veterinary experience is required. This job is usually not suitable for students since the schedule on work days can be irregular.
