You will also be general warehouse and Material Handling this is not just a CFL position. Must be able to lift 50 lbs Bilingual/Spanish a plus Must be able to follow directions, and have no attendance issues and reliable transportation with a valid CDL. JOB TITLE: Material Handler SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the distribution and production of materials by delivering production supplies and materials and staging finished and raw product. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Reports and works with immediate shift lead/supervisor. • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials listed on production orders. • Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies to all production lines. • Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered to production lines. • Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity and placing materials back into stock. • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspection reports and making operator repairs when needed or reporting any unsafe condition of equipment. • Helps by doing inventory reports every 1st of the month or when needed. • Relieves co-workers for rest breaks when needed. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks. • Works on a safely manner and maintains safety housekeeping. • Inform on issues, problems, etc. to supervisor, mechanic and incoming shift. • Follows all GMP, Quality, and Safety policies and daily housekeeping procedures. • Other duties can be assigned as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following: • Ability to safely use and operate a Forklift in a noise environment. • Basic computer skills for data entry. • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. • Technical Skills - Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills. • Works well with co-workers and supervisors. Takes and follows orders well. • Employee frequently stands, lifts, reaches, kneels, crouches, crawls and lifts up to 50 lbs.
