Hi, My name is Matthew Nelson and I've been a full-time producer and studio owner for 13+ years here in LA. I offer full service music production to get your songs to sound the way you only dreamed possible. I excel in co-writing, playing instruments, producing, mixing and mastering. But, sometimes all that’s needed is to simply record and mix the song you have already written. I'm are happy to do that too! Prices and packages will be determined specifically based on your needs. The Process We will start with a consultation listening to the song or songs you want to record, discussing your sound, inspiration, and goals. The first session will consist of a writing and arrangement analysis and if required and/or desired we can refine the lyrics and music. Once the song is just right, we will start making music which consists of recording live instruments or programming electronic elements. At this point we will record a scratch vocal so that we can continue to produce the full instrumental and bring your song to life. From here, I can either produce the music on my own time and present it to you refining it until you’re happy, or you can be part of the process and contribute to the production. Once we have the music just right, we will record the final vocals. I will then mix it and master it and viola, we have your song just the way you want it! Additional Services Are you looking to get your song into film and TV? There is a learning curve and are channels that you have to go through to get “in the game”. I have years of experience and networking and will be happy to utilize these once we get your music “synch ready”! This isn’t a “paid” service. It’s just something I am happy to assist you with if I find that your song would fit perfectly with someone or company in my network.
