New Home needed for rottweiler

Description

I hate to say it but my dog outgrew my apartment. We got him as a puppy and worked towards finding a larger home to put him in but with the way things turned out, it doesn't look like we will be able to follow through with that plan. We still have to move, but we won't be able to with our dog. A little bit about him. Jerome "Jerry" is 2.5 years old. His birthday is Valentine's Day. He is housebroken after establishing a place for him to use the bathroom. However, Jerry is not fixed. He's an intact male and cries at the sight of female dogs he can not approach. Jerry is not violent, he barks at the post man and home workers but he doesn't bite or snip at anybody. When he gets really scared, he hides under my bed, and refuses to come out until he calms down or is tricked with treats. Jerome will do anything for chicken and knows a number of tricks and will follow them consecutively. He is a aggressive chewer, and particularly likes his rubber chew toys which hides treat. When he get's bored, he chews small toys he can find. He is "attached" to me, he sits at my side at all times of the day and follows me where ever I go. He doesn't actually need a leash most times as he only gets about 20 ft away from me before he seeks to find me again. He's even gone as far as to dive into a lake, not knowing how to swim, to save me. Jerry is a good dog. We are looking for someone with a yard and is physically strong enough to handle a large dog. Someone who wishes to breed him, or is willing to have him "fixed". I never had the heart to fix him. Someone willing to take their time with him and can let him become "attached" to them like he is to me, so that he doesn't end up at the pound. We understand that his behaviors at time can be a little standoffish if he's overwhelmed so we don't want someone with too large of a family inheriting him. If you fit the bill please call or . We are charging a small rehoming fee of a $200 dollars to ward off those who would cause him harm. We are providing collars, toys, his crate, whatever food he has left and treats.
