Crew Members - have knowledge of the proper use and care of, and skills using various landscaping equipment including power mowers, chainsaws, pole pruners, trimmers, weed whackers, edgers and blowers - maintain equipment through cleanliness, safety and general maintenance - are able to work independently and make independent decisions to complete the job as described by Crew Leader/Driver - have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently - perform landscape maintenance tasks outdoors which may include extreme cold, hot, or wet conditions - work cooperatively with other employees to complete jobs in a precise and timely manner Crew Leader/Driver - has Crew Member knowledge and experience - must have a valid, clean, NYS Driver's License and experience driving a truck with trailer - has strong communication and management skills - demonstrates leadership qualities and the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks to Crew as needed - has the ability to train & supervise Crew Members, coordinate Crew activities, and work alongside Crew Members - uses reasonable judgment to adapt to changes in scope of work or environment to accomplish task in specified time frame - supervises Crew Members and documents their timely arrival, start and performance of assigned duties - maintains a drug-free, polite, cooperative work environment consistent with company policy, procedure & safety rules - Fills out routine reports and time sheets
