Growing, established print company in Bend Oregon is seeking a full time digital printing operator/bindery operator. This position includes end to end production of digital print jobs, including bindery and finishing. We're a non departmentalized, non conventional print shop that prides ourselves on the quality of work we output and the service we give our customers. Applicants must be computer literate, dependable, self motivated with a serious attention to detail and an understanding of profitability as well as time management. Applicants are expected to be organized and to be able to take a systematic approach to getting a job done. Job Duties Include: Reading work orders and job tickets Setting up and operating color digital presses as well as RIP output devices. Setting up and operating finishing machinery and final packaging. Quality checking finished products for defects and monitor quality of job output. Make efficient use of on hand inventory Maintain inventory and stock levels Requirements: Must be PC and Mac literate with some Adobe Acrobat Pro knowledge (Not Reader), Creative Suite (Illustrator/Indesign) a big plus! Ability and Motivation to learn new processes and equipment (Digital, Wide Format, Offset Printing) Physical abilities to lift up to 60lbs, ability to stand for several hours of a production shift Ability to lift from floor to table height.
