We are seeking to fill a full-time Custodian. Touchmark is dedicated to providing a safe working environment to our team members and a safe home for our residents. With this in mind, we require all team members be vaccinated against COIVD-19. If not yet vaccinated, new team members must have received at least one dose by their first day of employment (and second dose in the time interval established by the vaccine manufacturer, if applicable). Medical and/or religious vaccination exemption requests will be reviewed upon offer. As a Custodian, you will enrich lives each day by maintaining a clean environment and a healthy atmosphere for our residents. Your responsibilities include emptying garbage and recycle bins in trash rooms, office areas and common areas; performing floor care (cleaning and maintaining all entries and common areas; wet mopping, dust mopping and vacuuming all halls and common areas; vacuuming and extracting carpets; attending mandatory meetings; and performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor. The ideal candidate: 0 - Must be 18 years of age 0 - Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent 0 - Must read and write English in order to follow and give oral and written instructions 0 - Must be physically capable of turning, stooping, bending, stretching, and moving equipment 0 - Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds 0 - After training, must be able to operate equipment for assigned tasks including the trash compactor 0 - Have the ability to work in an environment with aging adults 0- Be patient, tactful, and flexible when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, staff and the public In addition to the benefits listed below, our employees enjoy discounted shift meals from our restaurant-style dining room, access to our fitness rooms, and an employee rewards program.
