**NEW DATE** - There is a one week delay to the September Jackson County Animal Services “By Appointment Only – Drive Thru Shot Clinic.” This month, due to vet scheduling issues, the clinic is on Saturday, September 25th, 2021. Pet owners MUST call the Shelter at by Friday, September 24th to make an appointment so the staff can space out the number of people coming in over the course of several hours. Please wear a mask and please be on-time. Pets whom are ill, on antibiotics, in heat, or on cortisone products cannot be vaccinated. The animal shelter is located at 5595 So. Pacific Hwy (99) in Phoenix near Talent. Vaccinations available for dogs (CASH ONLY as this fee goes to the veterinarian) are: Rabies ($10 cash for each vaccine) and Distemper/Parvo booster ($15 cash for each vaccine ). Vaccinations available for Cats (CASH ONLY, same prices as dogs): Rabies and Distemper/Rhino/Calici booster. All dogs six months of age and older are required by law to be vaccinated for rabies and licensed. No nail trimming will be done. Dog license fees (Check or Credit/Debit Card, or Cash), vary based on the length of licensing selected and there is also a discount for veterans and seniors 62 years and older. When calling for your appointment, ask the staff about the fee for your dog(s).
